I see the same patterns of frustration in both my local Los Angeles clients and my remote clients.  The reasons behind this frustration are numerous, but simply stated; losing the weight isn’t the issue.  Changing the beliefs & behaviors and resolving the emotional issues that led to the weight gain are key. Most of these behaviors, emotions and habits are beyond a person’s conscious awareness and control; they become automatic. In other words, we may initially lose weight on a traditional diet or weight loss program, but then our old automatic habits & patterns show up again because the root cause was not addressed.  You may find yourself right back where you started and usually more frustrated, unhappy and heavier. This only creates a feeling of weakness or failure, which makes it harder to even try to lose weight the next time.

 

Hypnotherapy is a very powerful and effective tool for weight control and weight loss. We can help a person lose weight as quickly as is healthy, and most importantly, keep it off. Why? Hypnosis works at the root cause, the source of our self-sabotaging behaviors and habits. When we can go to the source of the unwanted habits, emotions and behavioral patterns, we can eliminate them.  By introducing new and positive beliefs and behaviors, the pounds melt away. We also introduce and reinforce the “missing ingredient” (and it’s not about losing weight) that most weight control programs leave out so the pounds that melted away stay away!

Getting started.

Your decision to take greater control of your life and your health by slimming down is a decision you will never regret.  Even by deciding to take action and lose weight has a very powerful effect on the subconscious, starting the process of change from within.

 

During your strategy call and depending on the amount of your desired weight loss, we may begin by having you visit your physician for a consultation and evaluation. It is vitally important that we address any medical conditions that might be contributing to your condition.  Your health and safety are my top priority. I also recommend that you ask your physician for dietary advice with respect to any medications you might be taking. Since exercise is a part of any successful program to lose weight, it is also important to be sure you are cleared to engage in a program of healthy exercise.  If it is recommended that you visit your doctor, I have a form your doctor complete to ensure I design your program in a way that is best for you.

How the program works.

 

My program starts with several once-a-week sessions.  We will use a holistic approach to your specific situation, all modalities are safe, painless and powerfully effective.

 

Your package and the number of sessions varies between individuals based on your unique situation.  That doesn’t mean weekly sessions for the entire time you’re losing weight. We will cut back the frequency of your sessions as your progress warrants and as you desire.

 

It is important, however, that we work to help you establish and reinforce your new eating patterns & exercise program, build upon your conscious motivation, and solidify your new self-image. This is only done through regular sessions. I also give you reinforcing activities to accomplish between sessions.  Weight loss is a process that must be done at a safe pace for lasting results.

 

Together we will also change your triggers— the emotional patterns that got you where you are. With each session, with each pound, you will literally be reinventing yourself!
